Heavenly Pie with Chocolate Velvet filling

Heavenly Pie with Chocolate Velvet filling (Gluten free, Vegan, Sugar free)


Pie Crust

3 Cups sunflower seeds

1 cup dates

1 Tablespoon psyllium husks (can be made without this if you dont have it)

Coconut, cinnamon etc optional (really yummy with coconut sprinkled on top at the end)

 Chocolate Velvet:

1 large avocado

6 Tbsp cocoa powder

1/4 cup maple syrup

2 Tbsp raw sugar or honey

1/2 tsp vanilla   powder

Pinch cinnamon

1/2 cup purified water

Blend pie crust ingredients in a blender and then press into a baking paper lined tin. Mix together chocolate velvet ingredients in bowl or in blender and add water as desired for a creamier texture. Pour into pie crust and refrigerate until set. Tastes most awesome straight out of the freezer 🙂
