Coconut Banana Hemp Protein Bars

2 ripe bananas

1/2 cup coconut oil

3 cups quinoa flakes (these can be substituted for raw oats if you are not gluten intolerant)

1 cup shredded unsweetened coconut

1/2 cup dried cranberries

1/2 cup dried cherries, cranberries or figs

1/2 cup sunflower seeds

1/2 cup walnuts, chopped

1/4 cups of RAW Honey (very important you use raw as it has a low glycemic index as opposed to processed honey which is no better than table sugar and gets released into the blood stream very fast, making it bad for your body as it spikes blood sugar levels)

1 cup organic peanut butter (or any nut butter of your preference. almond, pecan, cashew, etc.)

6 scoops of hemp powder

4 Tbsp ground flax

4 Tbsp. Chia seeds

1 Tbsp cinnamon

2 tsp vanilla extract

Combine all ingredients in a food processor in the order they are listed in. Then take mixture and press into square greased cake tin. Refrigerate for an hour then cut into bars. Keep in the fridge or some in the fridge and rest in freezer and take out as needed.
